Frequently asked questions
How do I create an account?
Download Grip, open the app, and follow the prompts to set up your profile — name, email, handicap, home course, and playing preferences. You must be 18 or over to use Grip.
I forgot my password
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password" and enter your email. We'll send a reset link. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder or email [email protected].
How does matching work?
Grip matches you with compatible playing partners based on your handicap, general area, and availability. Your precise location is never shown to other users.
How do I report or block someone?
Open the user's profile or your chat with them, tap the menu, and choose Report or Block. For serious safety concerns, email [email protected] and we'll act quickly.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings in the app and choose Delete Account. This removes your profile and data within 30 days, except where law requires us to keep certain records. See our account deletion page for full details, or email [email protected] to request deletion.
The app isn't working properly
First, make sure you're on the latest version and try restarting the app. If the problem continues, email [email protected] with a description of what happened and a screenshot if you can.
